NURATA REGION

The unique spot on the Earth - Nurata Region - represents a scaled model of Central Asia with a variety of natural beauties. The Nurata mountains, Aydar-Kul Lake, Rabat Malik are most known places of visit of nature lovers. The Nurata mountain's highest peack - Mount Hayatbashi - is 2,169 m high. Nuratau State Reserve was set up back in 1975 in order to preserve the unique wild life of mountains. The reserve with an area of only 17,500 hectars is the habitat of 805 species of higher forms of plants.
